After KLM cancelled our flight from Toronto to Cape Town and rerouted us over 4 flight segments and 2.5 days we finally reached Cape Town. Ian was at the gate as pre-arranged ready to drive us to the hotel. However he didn’t know the airline had misplaced our luggage and we had to find the location of the reporting desk in the large airport to make our report. Ian was kind enough to help us locate the desk and spent more than an hour in the airport while we made our report. He then safely and efficiently took us to the hotel we had pre-booked. As we were tired and a bit frazzled we also hired Ian to pick us up at the hotel and take us to the waterfront, picking us up and returning my wife and I several hours later to the hotel.
